From the microphone to every screen
Nothing travels further than the cable to your computer.
-
Microphone on stage
Someone speaks. Your sound team already has the signal.
-
Sound console
A clean speech feed goes out: a post-fader aux, not the room or the music mix.
-
LCS Box or your computer
Speech becomes text, and text is translated, on the machine beside you.

Planned for version 1.0. Live Caption Studio is in development; the beta is how we test each output on real shows.
Live Caption Studio is built to run entirely on the computer in your booth. It never sends audio to a cloud service. The only network calls are license activation/renewal and update checks, and both can be turned off. YouTube captions, if you turn them on, send caption text (never audio) to YouTube.
Your audio stays in the room.
Live Caption Studio is built to run with no internet at show time. Free needs no activation and works offline indefinitely. One-time licenses work offline indefinitely on the purchased major version after a single activation (online, or by file from another device). Subscriptions renew once a month, online or by license file, with a 7-day grace; without renewal, the installation then continues as Free.
Works without Wi-Fi.
Captions in the language being spoken and a live translation underneath, on every output. Built for speakers who switch language mid-sentence. French and English first; more are planned.
Many languages, live.
Multilingual live captions and translation
Tell us which language your room needs.
French and English captions and two-way text translation are planned first. See the language order and the evaluation required before support is confirmed.

What you need
A computer with the right graphics, and a clean feed from your sound console.
Live Caption Studio requires an NVIDIA RTX graphics card (Windows or Linux) or a Mac with Apple silicon.

Planned requirements, confirmed by our evaluation before the beta.
A clean speech feed
Live Caption Studio needs a clean speech feed: the microphone routed directly from your sound console (a post-fader aux or matrix), not the room or the music mix. We make no accuracy promise for speech over a music bed.
One price, once
Buy it once per computer and keep it, with every update inside the version you buy. Or pay by the month for a single event. Or use it free, with a small tag under the captions.

Questions
Ask us anything about your rig.
Straight answers, including the ones we can’t give yet. Anything else, ask in the beta form.
Does any audio leave the building?
No. Live Caption Studio is built to transcribe and translate on your computer, and it never sends audio to a cloud service. The only network calls are license activation/renewal and update checks, and both can be turned off.
Which languages does it support?
French and English are planned first for the beta, including speakers who switch between them. Spanish is planned next, then Italian, Portuguese and Haitian Creole. We call a language supported only after we have measured it.
What do I need to plug in?
A clean speech feed: the microphones routed from your sound console on a post-fader aux or matrix, not the room or the music mix. We make no accuracy promise for speech over a music bed.
Which computer does it run on?
Windows or Linux with an NVIDIA RTX graphics card, or a Mac with Apple silicon. The planned minimum for captions is an RTX 3060 12 GB or RTX 4060 8 GB, or an M2, M3 or M4 Mac, each with 16 GB of memory. Our evaluation confirms these before the beta.
How fast and how accurate is it?
We will publish measured delay and accuracy, with the date, the hardware and the method, before we quote a number. Until then, we don’t.
Can I try it before it ships?
Join the beta. We are looking for rooms of every kind (stages, offices, classrooms, councils and churches) to run it on real shows and tell us what breaks.
Captions at your next event?
A short form: your room, your gear, your languages. No payment.
