One license per computer
Pro one-time is $499 USD per computer. It includes every update within the major version you buy. The next major version is optional, at $249; the version you own does not expire. This is not a promise of free major upgrades forever.
Pro monthly is $39 USD per month per computer, for an event or a season. Cancel any time. The monthly design uses a signed license that covers the paid period offline, plus a 7-day grace. Renew once per paid period, online or by license file; without renewal, the installation then continues as Free.
Free includes captions and translation
The planned Free edition has no time limit. It includes captions, text translation, overlays, HDMI fill/key and the phone viewer, with a small Live Caption Studio tag on visual outputs. TXT transcript export and dashboard control are included.
Pro removes the tag and adds YouTube closed captions, HTTP API and Companion control, unlimited profiles, SRT/VTT export and email support. The same planned Pro feature set is unlocked by monthly or one-time licensing; the payment term and update entitlement differ.
Which payment term fits?
A venue captioning every week can budget once with Pro one-time. Monthly suits a single event or a season: after thirteen monthly payments of $39, the $499 one-time license costs less. There are no per-hour or per-language fees in the pricing design.
Both editions still need the planned computer tier and clean speech feed. Paying for Pro does not establish accuracy or make unsupported hardware compatible. Languages remain subject to evaluation.
LCS Box and currency
The planned LCS Box combines hardware and a one-time license. Its final specification and price are not confirmed; no hardware price is quoted here.

Why pay if Free already includes translation and fill/key?
Pro removes the tag from visual outputs and adds YouTube closed captions, Companion/API control, unlimited profiles, SRT/VTT export and email support. Free keeps captions, translation, overlays, fill/key, phone viewing, dashboard control and TXT export. These edition features are planned for release.
Does a one-time license include every future version?
It includes all updates within the major version bought. The next major version is optional at $249 USD, and is free for buyers in the ninety days before that release. The existing license does not expire. Future operating-system or driver changes may still require software updates.
Do I need internet every time I use Pro?
The design needs no internet at show time. Free needs no activation and works offline indefinitely. One-time licenses work offline indefinitely on the purchased major version after a single activation (online, or by file from another device). Subscriptions renew once a month, online or by license file, with a 7-day grace; without renewal, the installation then continues as Free. Optional YouTube captions send text, never audio, to YouTube.
Can I try Pro before paying?
The planned trial includes all Pro features for fourteen days. When it ends, the installation becomes Free without data loss. The product is not available for download here yet; the current action is to join the beta, with no payment.
